Goes back to the whole "getting your hand burnt on the stove as a kid", you put your hand on a hot stove, get burnt, never do it again
If you don't have the sensation to know to remove your hand or other body part from a burning area you're gonna wind up dead without even realizing it
i think anyone with a brain can look at their hand and seeing it on fire even without feeling it would know that’s bad
