surprised an uninspired poster hasn't quoted u with "fuck you" yet
Lol it’ll happen eventually

@RDBarrett
Musta been from pre draft workouts :vom:
:vom: indeed but not for the reason u think
Mid 30s Gobert collecting the check bumbling around in the paint and getting screen assists
90% of supermaxes are albatrosses the moment the ink dries
was supposed to protect small markets and it just hamstrings them
yall killed me when I said itd be better to trade Dame than give him the supermax

dame and gobert not in the same stratosphere lol
dame and gobert not in the same stratosphere lol
same effect tho
once portland gives him that they're basically gonna lock themselves up in a position of mediocrity for the next 5 years just like utah did today

not every team is capable of getting a top 5 player and is content with just getting to the playoffs
a injury here it there or a young player developing could lead to to a chip.
doesn’t just make sense to start tanking just cause you don’t have a top 5 player lmao

It’s either pay him or just suck until they draft another star lol

And what are the chances that star is better than Dame

that's a positive asset that they can move for a rebuild pack at their discretion, and they're in the hunt
but besides the individual incentives can favor signing a star to a supermax when the alternative is sullying a relationship by offering less. the error is in the league presenting teams with that dichotomy in the first place
an easy adjustment could be having the supermax count the same against the cap as the max money other teams can offer

Portland can be a legitimate contenders tho once LeBron slows down
Can’t say the same for Utah. Good team but not certain they can take it to the next level
Why fellas still doubt Dame is beyond me
And they improved this offseason
