don't get fooled into creating a bunch of dead pages you don't have the time to keep up-to-date

one of the most important things i've learned in startups is to grow slowly

you'd rather have 100 dedicated customers than 1,000 that don't care much

honestly you're probably better off following the Startup school for bigger learnings. y combinator / stanford etc

content marketing is a trap - as i said in my original post. it's literally just post more to get more visibility lol

Rule #1: no amount of marketing will help a s*** product

so ensure you have product / market fit

it's what i studied at school so i have a unique perspective on it all. it's f***ed because this whole field has been infiltrated by scammers and just bad advice-givers after gary vee got so big. i generally don't even tell people that i'm an entrepreneur anymore due to the negative connotation

you're going to learn most simply by starting. you just have to track the right metrics and have the right goals going in and that's where tools like Y Combinator come in.

read or skim the lessons in thiel's book - zero to one. it's a good beginner for a mindset shift

I’m an anxious person and I’m always preoccupied by the idea of failing so I spend mad hours going through a long list of courses and books instead of jumping into the project so I can be as prepared as possible but it doesnt seem to be the right course

I’m gonna go through the y combinator/stanford vids and read a couple books and go right into it

i'd be hypocritical to say if that didn't happen to me. not so much the anxiety just the opportunity cost of dedicating yourself to 1 project for 10+ years is daunting if your heart isn't in it all the way
