Deelights_Dementia in old ppl is just terrible, difficult on them and mostly to their close family members and need constant attention so they don’t hurt themselves.
My grandma had dementia at the tail end of her life. Was gnarly to see as a kid and can’t imagine what my mom & grandpa + all the people at the nursing home had to deal with. S*** is insane

When we were cleaning up her room after she went to the hospital we found dishes in her cupboards, bills from like 2009, and a knife beside her bed

Man after doing like research on this at school, it scares me a lot man, cos this s*** is difficult to control, and can go from mild to severe dementia, even with hella money research firms and govt pump into brain research, still found nothing to counter it, even when released, they will make y’all get a nurse for her and prolly never sleep with doors closed and check her stuffs often. Y’all prolly gonna have to keep introducing yourself most of the time, hopefully it doesn’t get to that

Yeah bro this is what is scary is that there's no cure so it'll just keep getting worse and I can't imagine how hard it is going to be on my mom to constantly be looking after her for not only her safety but her own. Going to talk to my mom about a home if she is released from the hospital
