Growing up my family always kept it around or under $100 for our family of 4 for 1.5-2 weeks worth

one thing i've noticed when grocery shopping is that a massive cost raise isn't necessarily on food but on toiletries and packaged and/or dry goods (i.e. coffee). any time i buy like paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. i stg the cost is like 6x what it was 5 years ago.
Yeah most people are just buying food and most states have sales tax - which ny doesnt on food and one of their rare ws
And hes buying for one person, most grocery complaints are from mothers rsising a family lol

Most dairy in general along with beef are the big ticket items, which you dont have much of
And this doesnt count toilettetries, hygeine, general products etc.
And you are a person of 1
It is disingenuous & literally a lie
And conservatives arent the only ones lol its been a left talking point since covid to this day
Groceries are not expensive if all you buy is chicken, rice, onions and for one person
Not a shocker
Fruit, beef & especially dairy are the food items that are overpriced
And like i said some of them dudes are literally in court for price hiking
