Cole bowing out while Drake taking on a 20v1 is crazy in hindsight.

Cole gave his reason on why he back tracked and it had nothing to do with what you mentioned. He never said “aye yall I stand by what I said but They taking it further so I’m cool” nigga said he couldn’t live with himself because of HIS rhymes.

    It’s just drake cope lol

One of the smartest moves in rap history and gives some weight to the title of his upcoming album.

    Ain’t no album.

Best Diss Track from all 3 in the concept of speaking straight facts and no clout chasing

  • Smart move. Kendrick would’ve washed him & Drake. Can’t wait to hear the fall off.

Cole is great at rhyming words and relating to the average person through his humility and his come up story.

But he’s no actual killer like neither Kendrick nor Drake are, both those niggas are sick in the head when it comes to this rap s***. That’s why he’ll always be a tier below both of them. Have the utmost respect for the dude and he’s a legend for sure but he just can’t be in those conversations ever again

When it comes to rapping J Cole is better than Drake, plus he never used ghostwriters like Drake has.

Drake has him beat in overall music making ability and beefs. But rap wise Drake is not a cut above him or anything like that

If we’re talking strictly lyrically then maybe

But Drake got him beat in virtually every other category when it comes to the skill of rapping (except for live performance)

But even then, most of J. Cole’s verses (post-2016 specifically) boil down to “I rap better than you and my niggas have guns and here’s some punchlines about those two things”

How can you give him credit for most of these when he’s confirmed using ghostwriters.

Most of these come down to Drake’s actual performance besides the quotables.

You can write the hottest verse for someone but if they can’t deliver it well and sound good doing it then it doesn’t matter. There’s a reason no one listens to Quentin Miller’s music
