I just gotta say this and imma sound like a old head but the way people have just essentially become so reliant upon streaming to ALLOW them to listen to music that is already available to download for FREE… this just doesn’t make sense. I’ve had INNANETAPE in my personal music library since it came out. I have been able to access this mixtape as I please for YEARS whether from my phone, laptop, iPod… whatever!!

Streaming really won because the consumer acts as if the music doesn’t exist unless it’s on a streaming service. People… LEARN HOW TO DOWNLOAD SOMETHING AND PUT IT IN YOUR LIBRARY. DRAG AND DROP!! It’s very simple.

And this not shade to the people in this thread or really even about this tape in particular. This is just in general… we are not helpless. Before streaming people just knew how to do this s***.

I started playing around with doing this local file s*** few years ago, I missed a month of Apple Music and some weeks a few years ago, and now my iCloud Music Library is f***ed up with some of what I had before Apple Music deleted my s***, the empty playlists of what was there before, and what I've been trying to rebuild after

Lmaoo on me for being a broke ass nigga at that point a few years ago but nigga its not that simple

There needs to be an app to do this without being attached to streaming services

Also when you do this it will make the s*** weird between the copy you downloaded and the one on streaming. I downloaded some special early edition of HHNF or some s*** (no real differences, I think it was just the one on the "resource" i got the album from ) and it always gets confused whether to play the one I downloaded or the one on streaming, same for Wayne mixtapes that randomly get added to streaming

it only works that easily on Apple Music

    it’s that simple
