Proud to say I was streaming this the day it dropped, seeing Cole in between these names at the time was very exciting
Thought this wuz about Theophilous London
I literally JUST slandered this song in an interview I did today
This and Life is Good were pre-Covid bangers
and now look @ they fall from grace smh
never quite decided whos verse i liked more but v clear now its thug.
cole's transphobe bars r always very tiring
..the universe where sza's on the rmx..

these dudes is lost
Literally generic radio slop
J cole is so f***ing bad man
The far better London song J. Cole is apart of

The last era where songs like this happened and still mattered, maybe we were lowkey already beyond this point when this dropped
but yeah this one of them ones
The London in London >>>>

unfortunately, it’s Thug’s worst song as a lead artist

songs like what? one feature on the chorus & the other feature on a verse? wouldn’t say that format matters more or less now compared to a decade ago. i think it comes down to how much a person likes all of the artists on the song & how often they collab.
The London wasn’t really that special unless you were a big Cole fan back then. not one of Travis’s best songs, not one of Thug’s best songs.
lowkey never liked this song lol felt like it only got love cause of Cole collabing with these guys but other than that it’s just an ok song.

3 random niggas from completely different lanes collaborating on a mainstream release
we not getting lil baby and like earl (cant think of who else would fill cole spot lol) and like yeat or don toliver or whoever. and tbh you right this was even kinda a tame version of what im trying to refer to
Not mainstream but like who thought to put these niggas together lol. S*** like this dont happen between random niggas no more

Im sure others can think of better examples
lmao we barely even get lucki veeze baby altogether let alone niggas outside their lane, ironically i was just watching baby new popcast interview and he talks about lowkey being open to doing more diverse collabs

Old English is so damn hard btw, insane how well those three fit together on it
When it comes to somewhat random collabs, this is one of my favorite picks, like what is Danny Brown doing here lol, song is hard af too
