Bell's palsy is not rare in young adults, and in fact, it is more common in this age group. The incidence rate is around 20 per 100,000 people per year, with the highest incidence between ages 15 and 40. While Bell's palsy can occur at any age, it's more frequent in young adults compared to children or older adults.

Are there any factors that can increase the risk

    How do you cure it

Infection medication + wait for it to come in time, few weeks. Not all cases severe as others. Friend had this about 6 weeks ago and it went away in 4.

4 weeks for him but by 2 weeks it was not very noticable unless he tried to smile. No you can move that side of the face, almost like all the muscles went limp. Its hard to eat sometimes.
He noticed when he was eating fries and it just kinda fell out of his mouth.

Corticosteroids/antivirals + Give it time and itll go back to the way it was but temporarily sucks
