Have you played any of the Kings Field games? I havent, so this is kinda new and challenging to me, but still familiar in the sense of the philosophy that inspired Demon's Souls & Dark Souls 1 (DS1 is a top 3 game for me), so it scratches a very particular itch, one which even the games post-DS1 have largely failed to capture.
