    The response is similar. Officials are urging calm and that there is nothing to worry about. A NewsNation reporter was arrested at a press conference. Very little national media coverage

    that this will hopefully not force a large amount of local people out of their homes due to contamination. ofc i understand its in the air, and something like this happening in Ohio, can have an impact on me in NJ. i am just referencing the surrounding immediately impacted areas.

    East Palestine itself is really small

    But its just west of Pittsburgh, its right on the Ohio/PA border.

    This is near a new Shell cracker plant so the air quality in this area is already being tainted.

    A little disingenuous still to call it Chernobyl Lite as there is no nuclear radioactive fallout.

    Definitely way worse than they are leading on though, supposedly no harmful air quality was detected near where I live, but that's tough to truly believe.
