I don't get how you could be living in the United States today and think that this system is the best we can do and that it's working well enough even with a general, national-level a***ysis bereft of class context, to just outright ignore every aspect of socialist economics/theory/history. It's not really even a debate, we're either going to steer this ship off a cliff or we're going to have a society that is fundamentally ran for/by workers. And we're only getting the latter with socialism.
