Very excited to be playing a one-off show at The Horse Hospital on 20th of August. We’re gonna be playing lots of music that I’ve written for album 2, and reimagining some of album 1 too.

I’m still deep in the making of this new album and have been all year. Yes, it’s a little unusual to start playing new stuff live without a release date in sight (and there really isn’t one atm), but honestly I’m just ready to open things up after a year spent with my head down, working mostly alone. I’m excited to get back in with my band and see how these songs feel, and to share them with some of you, hopefully. I think it will help me with the next stage of making this album, to propel me forward.

Tickets are on sale tomorrow (Friday 31st) at 10am GMT via Dice and I hope to see you there.

We’re also playing a few days later at All Points East on the 22nd, on ms Lorde’s lineup, so maybe i’ll see some of you there. I’ll def be trying a few new ones there also. After that it will be right back to the album…

She mentioned a ballad version of Can You Look in The Mirror and an "ABBA-esque" version of Deeper that she was thinking about putting out in an interview a few years ago.
