Surprised no threads on this. Trailer is amazing

Way too early to have an opinion on it personally. No gameplay, “massive choices” as a selling point, ex-devs of other great companies have made trash like Back 4 Blood so I’m skeptical.

I’ll follow up as we learn more but I have a feeling this is many years away. Hope it ends up being great though always in for BioWare type games and I love sci-fi.

that’s cause the guys who founded respawn were two of the founders of infinity ward. they knew how to make great games and were obviously key in the development of call of duty. a lot of these “former dev” teams are not full of people like that, they’re animators, modelers, sfx artists, etc. still important people in the development of games but not the people who are responsible for a games vision and scope
