  • I was just at a dentist appointment and sitting in the quiet waiting room with 6 people was awfuul. I was hearing their breaths and at some poinnts i felt they wanted my attention but they didnt. I was constantly on edge.

My household is full of fans. I sleep with 4 fans in my room and have a fan in my kitchen, living area, and the bathrooom fan is always on. If i have silence, it just feels like something is wrong. Scilence has an air to it that is disturbing. I also hear ringing at times, but i think thats from too loud of music in my childhood.

  • Idk but i was jus thinking like its absolutely insane we live in a world where u can get locked up for something u didnt even do and get attacked by booty bandits in prison and people act like theres nothing wrong

I used to, idk why but something changed over time

It does have a disturbing air to it but also feels truthful. The minor ambient sounds make the world feel more like a living breathing entity than usual

I like listening to my breathing and my heartbeat which i guess ties into the whole “truthful living being” thing. Its all comforting and grounding to me.

  • Disagree. Silence could be the best conversation.

  • think it's silence with a c op!

  • I feel the opposite. There’s too much noise out there.

  • Only when it’s sleepy time. It’s hard to sleep without the sound of my air purifier running or some ambient noise
