I am not in the market for mens leather loafers
But I am in a debate with someone and I need to know if I am wrong
They are saying that 500 is the cheapest you can pay for quality leather loafers
probably tbh
you can get a pair of seconds from a solid company like trickers for like 400 bucks so yeah

"Seconds clothes refer to products that did not meet a final quality inspection standard by the manufacturer. These items may have minor flaws or irregularities, such as a misplaced or slightly irregular stitch, a small snag in the material, or a cosmetic issue like a small mark or blemish. Despite these imperfections, seconds clothes are still brand new and have not been used, unlike those found at thrift stores."
Lotta quality loafers I see in the $250-300 range. Feel like if you're paying $500 or more it's less about paying for the material and more about paying for the brand.

Always trips me out that feet can shrink that much with weight loss
Crying at the being the flaw though
