  • i have been meaning to record some music using my guitar and was wondering what you guys would recommend, since ive never recorded directly into my computer before. is the focusrite 2i2 a good option?

    If you think sometime in the future you might get a few synths etc id recommend getting something with more inputs/outputs but if you really only need it for your guitar probably they all sound the same at that price point

    i think the most i would get in the future is a bass and midi keyboard, but def not anytime soon. ill prob buy the 2i2 today and see how it works

    Those will be fine, you cant play the bass and guitar at the same time, and the midi keyboard wont need an audio cable

    ive been playing guitar for 2.5 years, but only recently got into the idea of recording my own music. i have some friends that are also interested in making music together but none of us know how daws work so i figured it'd be cool to try learning how this s*** works
